Today Sam’s Club released their 31-page Holiday Guide catalog and the 5-page ad for their upcoming Fall Online Savings sale which starts October 8th and runs through October 17th.The last page of the Holiday Guide contains Sam’s Club upcoming sale schedule for the rest of the year. Sam’s Club is going back to their pre-Covid sale lengths, bringing back shorter weekend sales and having their Black Friday sale start on Thanksgiving Day (online) instead of starting it a week before Black Friday as they did last year. This morning Walmart released their annual list of “Top Rated by Kids" toys for the holiday season. Their list features dozens of toys which were tested and selected by kids – the ultimate toy experts.The list spotlights toys based on popular characters as well as gadgets for kids, board games, outdoor toys, building block sets and screen-free indoor entertainment toys.16 of the toys are exclusive to Walmart this year, and most are available for ordering now on Walmart.com with free shipping on orders of $35 or more, or free in-store or curbside pickup.

Target put out a press release this morning with two major announcements. First, Target Deal Days is back. From October 10th through the 12th Target will have thousands of deals both online and, for the first time, at all Target stores. We’ll have the ad for this sale posted very soon.Next, Target announced a new holiday price match guarantee. It starts October 10th and runs until Christmas Eve. You can request a price adjustment on all items purchased at Target and they will continue to match competitors prices within 14 days. As always, read the fine print on this policy.

Today Amazon took the wraps of a number of new devices in their smart home device lineups during a livestream presentation for invited guests. Many of these devices should be discounted during Amazon’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in just a couple short months.Among these are the new Echo Show 15 wall-mounted smart display, the new Amazon Glow kid-focused video calling device and the new Amazon Smart Thermostat. These new gadgets join recently announced Amazon-built TVs, a new Fire TV stick and a much improved Kindle Paperwhite e-reader.
