Walmart Announces Initial Holiday Plans

Walmart issued a press release this morning with preliminary details of how they intend to run their operations during this year’s holiday shopping season. As for Black Friday, Walmart is promising an "all-new Black Friday experience" with deals spread out over a longer period of time.Walmart also says more of their deals will be available online. We’ll have to see whether that is actually the case. In previous years Walmart’s best Black Friday deals tended to be in-store only or sell out in seconds online. Walmart also says they will be increasing hiring and increasing inventory of popular products such as electronics, toys and stay-at-home type gift ideas.
