Walmart Matches Competitors Prices a Week Early!
Walmart is stepping into the ring with its competitors, and the result promises to be awesome for Black Friday 2014 shoppers everywhere. Why? Earlier today Walmart announced here that this Friday Nov.21 it’s holding a special event where it will match any of its rivals’ best Black Friday prices a full week before Black Friday actually happens.
In their announcement they hinted at price matches on several big ticket items such as the following:
- 40″ LED HDTV
- 60″ TVs from LG and Sony
- PlayStation 4 offer
- Canon Wireless Printer
- Keurig K-40
- KitchenAid Stand Mixer
- Select Lego sets
Walmart will remain mum on any further details of these deals until Thursday Nov.20, when it will reveal the full list of price matches it plans to offer (you can follow the announcement on Walmart.com).
As part of the Nov.21 price matching event Walmart will also provide exclusive deals on items like a Samsung 58” Class Smart LED HDTV for $698 (special buy), a Samsung 40” Class LED HDTV with “Frozen Sing-Along Edition” for $298 (special buy), and the New 16 GB iPad Air 2 for $489 with a $100 Walmart gift card. Shoppers will also receive a $75 gift card with the purchase of the iPhone 6 or 5s.
